Croesy entertained Abergavenny at Woodland Road in this rearranged fixture. Unfortunately Abergavenny were unable to field a front row, which negated the Croesy scrum which was looking to dominate the game.

The result was that Croesy became dragged into a game that at times resembled a 7 a side game..This didn't suit the structured game that Croesy look to play. Abergavenny fielded a team that offered little in attack with a kick and chase game being their main method of attack.

Croesy' s four tries came via an excellent break by full back Rhys Roberts and rounded off by winger Cameron Jones.and a hat-trick of short range efforts from second row Micki Witts after build up work from the pack..

The match was also notable for the six yellow cards awarded by the referee, four of which were to Croesy players. This allowed the team to show its defensive strength, but was something that will need to be avoided against less limited opposition.
