Croesyceiliog  made quite a few changes due to unavailability for the visit to Abergavenny and went down by 19pts to 17pts. Croesyceiliog started superbly, a twenty minute burst saw them score three excellent tries through Andrew Barlow, Rob Stark and Jake Smith. The home side came back late in the second half with a penalty and try.
Croesyceiliog leading by 17pts to 8pts began the second half under great pressure from the home side who had superiority in the set piece and line out which resulted in the deficit being reduced to one point through a penalty and a try. A further penalty five minutes from time was converted by the home side to see them run out winners.
Croesyceiliog put in an admirable first half performance, but failure to secure their own ball especially from line out in the second half was their undoing and subsequently led to their defeat.
