Croesy exitted the WRU Plate with a first round defeat at the hands of a very impressive Abertillery BG side, which continued its unbeaten run from the start of the season. Croesys performance however showed a lot of spirit and the return of some key players for next Saturdays home league game against the same Abertillery side, will hopefully see another step up in performance by eliminating some of the loose kicks that allowed the skilful and fast Abertillery backs to return the ball with interest.

Despite conceeding 6 tries in total, at least two were down to the luck of the bounce of the ball not going Croesys way and the team replied with 3 of their own via Rhys Roberts, David Fosdick and James Reid.
